Names of the children at Molly’s 5th birthday party

- Forester (named, presumably, after his mother’s favorite Subaru model)

The parents of these children numbered among them two of my former babysitters. Brian, the son of a neighbor, first practiced changing a diaper on the infant me. He apparently was trying to put it on backwards, realized he was doing things wrong, freaked out and called his father, who walked down the street to assist him. I have been told this story four separate times since moving back to Vermont.
